Faith
Pablo usually does this, but I (Judi) wanted to try my hand, as well. While looking out the dining room window the other day, God showed me a simple example of faith. It was a drab, dismal day. The majestic Sierra Nevada mountains near Granada were totally enshrouded with dense fog.
I knew those mountains were there somewhere. I had seen them before! But today nothing was visible, not even one rugged foothill.
By mid-afternoon the heat and power of the sun had dispersed the thick clouds. The mountains could be seen once again in all their glorious splendor.
Just like the mountains, God is always there. At times, doubt, depression, fear or sickness tend to hide him from view. Faith knows that he is there. Faith means that we “hang in there” until the warmth of his smile and presence con be seen and felt once again.
